For everyday use, no. HazNode® runs entirely in your browser — no software to install, no servers to manage, and updates happen automatically. The one exception is printing labels directly to a label printer from HazNode®, which needs a small handler installed on the machine driving the printer. Everything else, including all fieldwork, sampling, statistics and reporting, is browser-only.

Most teams are working in HazNode® within days, not months. Our structured onboarding moves your service catalogue, clients and templates across in a defined sequence so you start on solid ground. Onboarding is free for sign-ups before 31 December 2026 (normally USD $1,499).

In most cases, yes. Our structured onboarding makes the transition straightforward and preserves data integrity wherever possible — so your history comes with you rather than being left behind in spreadsheets.

Yes. Every plan includes onboarding support and access to documentation, release notes and training resources, plus direct support from the HazNode® team.

HazNode® is purpose-built for occupational and environmental hygiene consultancies — teams that need defensible data across quoting, fieldwork, laboratory workflows, statistics, reporting and client communication. General health & safety consultants use it too, for the quoting, projects, reporting and invoicing side.

Yes. If you mainly need to record survey data and produce rigorous, presentation-ready Bayesian exposure reports — for example as an agency or survey programme — you can use HazNode® for the statistics and reporting alone, without the full workflow.

For most consultancies, yes — HazNode® replaces the patchwork of spreadsheets, Word templates and disconnected tools used to run quoting, fieldwork, sampling, lab and invoicing, bringing them onto a single data layer.

Yes — HazNode® works with Xero. Invoices you raise from project line items and time draft straight into Xero with the right number, accounts and tax, clients link to a single Xero contact (never duplicated), and payments — partial payments included — reconcile back automatically. Xero is the first fully-supported accounting integration, with QuickBooks Online, FreshBooks and Sage Intacct planned.

Yes. Per-user pricing and structured, shared workflows mean you can add consultants and take on more work without admin growing at the same rate. Plans move from solo practices up to multi-region teams.

One price for the whole organisation, set by how many workers you manage — not per user, and not per site. Everyone in your organisation who needs access has it. Prices are in NZD and exclude GST.

The people you are responsible for as an employer. Your band is set by that headcount, so the price moves as the organisation grows rather than as more people log in.

Organisations over 50 workers are priced on application, because at that size the shape of the operation matters more than the headcount. There is no published figure for it — talk to us and we will price it properly.

No — contractor management is a companion product on its own subscription, priced per site. It is built to work alongside HazNode® Safety rather than being part of a Safety band, and contractor packs extend that subscription rather than this one.

No. HazNode® Safety is self-onboarding, so there is no implementation project and no professional services fee. You can be running inspections the same day. The free-onboarding offer you may have seen applies to consultancy seats, which are a different product.

Yes. Annual prepayment is 10% below twelve monthly payments, and every annual figure on this page already has that discount applied. Safety bills monthly or annually — quarterly and six-monthly are consultancy seat options only.

The currency follows the country you are in — New Zealand customers in NZD, Australian customers in AUD, everywhere else in USD. Each currency is priced independently rather than converted, so the rates on one page are not an exchange rate for another.

Probably not. This page prices HazNode® Safety for organisations looking after their own workers. If you deliver hygiene work to clients, you want the consultancy seat pricing, which is per user and on its own page. If you do both, take a look at the partner programme.

It runs on the exposure data already in the system, with no exporting to a separate tool.

Yes. HazNode® is hosted on encrypted, multi-region cloud infrastructure with strict access controls, continuous monitoring and built-in redundancy. Your data stays protected, available, and backed by strong audit trails.

Both are in progress. We are working toward ISO 27001 and SOC 2 with Scrut, formalising the security practices the platform is already built on.

You do. Your data is yours — HazNode® holds it securely on your behalf and you can export your records.

Every plan includes direct support from the HazNode® team, along with access to documentation, release notes, training resources and ongoing feature updates.

Yes. No module is locked behind a larger plan — Professional, Team, and Scale give you the same platform, and the only thing that changes between tiers is the per-seat rate as the team grows. What you choose is how much of it you take: Business is the paid seat, and Hygiene is a per-seat add-on that rides on it. The headline rates on this page are for both together.

Pricing is per seat, per month, in NZD, and excludes GST. Business is the paid seat and Hygiene is an add-on on top of it, so a seat can be Business alone or Business plus Hygiene — the Hygiene add-ons can never outnumber the Business seats they ride on. Your tier is set by the total seat count: 1–5 seats sits on Professional, 6–23 on Team, and 24+ on Scale. The whole quantity bills at the rate its count lands in, so at 24 seats every seat is on the Scale rate.

Most of the operational pressure in a growing consultancy comes from the same data being re-entered across multiple systems. HazNode® removes that duplication — quotes flow into projects, field data flows into reports, line items flow into invoices — so the existing team handles more work without the admin growing in step.

Onboarding (normally our standard onboarding fee) covers structured data import, master service list setup, equipment register import, and a working session to configure your sampling templates. Yes. As your team grows, the tier and rate adjust automatically, and the whole quantity moves to the new rate rather than just the seats above the threshold — at 24 seats every seat bills at the NZD $105 rate, not just the twenty-fourth. Existing users see no change to the platform.

No. The per-seat rate is the per-seat rate — NZD $149, $125 or $105 depending on your seat count, excluding GST. Sign-ups before 31 December 2026 include onboarding at no extra charge.
